Red Whale and Versus Arthritis are teaming up again to bring you a FREE webinar on “Supporting rheumatology patients during COVID-19”. It will be available to watch on demand from 6am on 4th June 2020.

The COVID-19 pandemic has been an anxious time for everyone, but perhaps particularly for our very high risk patients who have been asked to shield. There has been much confusion and challenge in accurately identifying these patients and the wider implications for their physical and mental health. In this webinar our MSK team is joined by Dr Danny Murphy and will look at:
•    Risk stratification and shielding.
•    DMARD monitoring and what to do if a patient on a DMARD gets COVID-19.
•    Drug dilemmas: steroids, NSAIDs and bone protection.
•    Who still needs referral and how do we assess patients with a potentially new inflammatory arthritis…remotely!
•    Where can we signpost patients for trusted support and advice at this time?

Because of social distancing measures, this webinar will be brought to you ON DEMAND on Thursday 4th June. However, if you would like to submit any questions beforehand, you can do so at webinars@red-whale.co.uk or via Twitter GP_Update.
