Presenting with Red Whale

Could YOU be the next Red Whale GP Update course presenter?

Have you ever sat on any Red Whale courses and thought “I’d love to do that, but I don’t know if I could?” Now is your chance to find out!

  • Do you love being a GP, warts and all, but wish you could make a bigger impact, enabling your primary care colleagues to implement change in their day to day practice?
  • Would you feel comfortable delivering high quality, evidence based clinical content to a crowd of your own peers, sharing your own experiences to allow them to learn from your mistakes?
  • Do you have 24 days a year to dedicate to a challenging and fulfilling role that complements your current practice commitments?

If you can answer yes to all these questions, we might be looking for you!

We are looking for practising GPs to make big, bold waves in primary care education as Red Whale presenters.   You should be confident in preparing and presenting one-day, lecture-based courses to audiences of 50-300 primary care providers and be willing to get involved with delivering webinar and film-based learning.

Red Whale is a well-established provider of education for GPs and primary care teams, touching the lives of over 15,000 practitioners every year.

We are looking to expand our team of enthusiastic presenters and continue making our courses relevant, challenging and fun. There are opportunities to present on our GP Update course and in the longer term, branching out into our specialist courses.

As this is a role that will require a lot of commitment and dedication, we would like you to put in a little bit of extra effort into the application process.  Please download the Guide to the Application Process for full details.  We have put together a document to give you a good idea of Who We Are Looking For to assist you with your application.  Please also send through a Conflict of Interest Form with your application.

The closing date for all applications will be Sunday 6 October 2019, although we will assess applications as they arrive. We will confirm whether you have been successful or not, but please pencil in the date of the Interview / Assessment Day which will be held on Saturday 2 November 2019.
