Our flagship course. RCGP accredited and bursting with the latest evidence! New for 2020: 6 extra hours of online content = 12 CPD credits in total!
Please note that we are no longer taking bookings for our March - June 2020 courses, but our GP Update Online Course is available to order.
What’s it all about?
The GP Update course is the essential update, covering the recent changes to the big topics (and some of the smaller ones) relevant to primary care. Alongside the teaching you will receive some really useful tools, like ready written protocols, trusted patient resources, quick reference flow-charts and our new GEMS sheets (where we turn really complex topics into easy to follow flow charts).
As you’d expect, you’ll get 6 CPD credits for attending the course and a copy of the printed handbook to take home with you. From March 2020 you will also get 6 further hours of online content with GP Update Extra - where we’ll tackle time saving, headache reducing tips, hints and tools to make your life a touch easier.
That’s 12 CPD credits in total!
Finally there is the unmissable 12 months FREE access to www.gpcpd.com. If you’ve not used it before it’s our online Handbook, in-consultation search engine and CPD tracker all rolled into one super useful resource.
The content of our courses is determined by what’s happening in primary care month on month. We do our best to bring you the very latest on the areas that we feel will have the most impact at the time of your update. And, we’ll always cover the big topics:
- Cardiovascular disease
- Renal disease
- Respiratory medicine
- Mental health
- Musculoskeletal medicine
- Cancer care
- Sexual health
- Common infections
- Child and adolescent health
- Women’s health
- Men’s health
- Health in older people
